David Berg

David H. Berg is an ordained Lutheran minister and spiritual counselor who is compassionate about coming alongside people who are hurting. David is a husband of 25 years and father of two wonderful children and lives in Bakersfield, CA.  David received his grief coaching training through the Grief Coaching Center with Dr. H. Norman Wright, Susan Clause and Kimberly Dinsdale.  He has been in chaplain ministry with hospice and hospitals for over 12 years.  Certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains since 2000, David is a passionate listener who loves seeing people move from mourning to dancing.

Georgianna Thompson

Georgianna Honey Thompson is a compassionate, trained grief coach, BSHS Human Service Management, Licensed Minister, grief/crises/trauma trained, and volunteer for Optimal Hospice. Currently residing in Bakersfield, CA, Georgianna brings compassion, love, wisdom, and knowledge through coaching to those experiencing loss and grief.  Optimistic, caring, and having experienced loss and grief of her own, Georgianna reaches out as an extended hand for helping others find positive growth from painful life experiences.  Georgianna brings her Christian faith, life experience, and training to people looking for Grief Coaching.

Terryl Delaney

Terryl Delaney has enjoyed a wide ranging background in ministry following his ordination in 1965.  He served as the regional director of the Chosen People Ministries in Denver, CO and Philadelphia, PA.  He then served as the Senior Pastor of the First Brethren Church of Whittier, CA.  Terryl returned to the Chosen People Ministries as the Director of Communications, the Editor of the Chosen People Magazine and a Conference Speaker.  Following these ministries, Terryl served 26 1/2 years as the founding and Senior Pastor of Grace Community Church (Baptist) in Washingtonville, NY.   Grace Community grew to a church of over 1200 people with Sunday morning attendance ranging into the 700’s when Terryl led it through a successful pastoral transition.  Terryl also served on the faculty of New York School of the Bible in New York City for 17 years.  Besides serving in pastoral ministry for over 40 years, Terryl is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, a certified Victims Relief Chaplain, and a certified Grief Coach with the Grief Coaching Center plus being trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.  Terryl is dedicated to helping people find peace, and meaning in their journey through trauma and grief.  This led him to create the Caring Pastors Ministry in Lakeland, FL in 2010.

Barbara Stone

Barbara is a Trained Grief Coach and a Biblical Pastoral Lay Counselor.  She has experience coming alongside those who are dealing with grief and crisis, anger and depression, and miscarriage.  Barbara is the mother of two grown children.  She and John have been married 31 years.  They are members of Valley Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California, where together they counsel couples in marital and parenting issues, family dynamics and spiritual formation.

Susan R. Clause

Susan is passionate about coming alongside those who are walking through a season of loss. She brings to her role as Grief Center Coach Trainer an extensive background as a Certified Counselor, Christian Life Coach, and Certified Grief Coach. With a foundation of more than twenty years of service and training, she offers a wealth of experiential wisdom and hope to those in need. As a Life and Grief Coach, Susan desires to inspire and empower others to experience sustained, positive life change, overcome challenges, and learn to live beyond loss. As a Grief Center Coach Trainer, she purposes to equip individuals who long to effectively meet the needs of those who grieve.

Shelly Lynne Moore

Shelly combines supportive listening and enthusiastic encouragement as a grief coach. She aims to support people through their losses in life, helping them to regain a life of hope and fulfillment. Shelly has 30 years experience in communications, leadership, and personal growth training. Her qualifications also include certification in Lay Counseling; Grief, Crisis, and Trauma Counseling; Senior and Care Giver Support through the final stages of life.

Debi Dixon

Debra DixonDebi has been a lay counselor and recovery group leader at her church for over 10 years. Debi has experienced the deployment of both her adult children. Her son deployed to the Persian Gulf on an aircraft carrier while serving in the U.S. Navy. Her daughter deployed to Afghanistan as an MP while serving with the U.S. Army. Debi has experienced the losses of her beloved aunt, mother, husband, and best friend. Working through these losses led Debi to become a grief coach.

Youngja Oh

Youngja OhYoungja has been a registered nurse for almost 30 years and was involved with patients’ care responsibilities. She retired in 2004. As a Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary graduate, she served in the children’s ministry, led women’s groups, and taught the Bible to adults at the Concord Korean Baptist Church in northern California. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and is currently doing her Marriage and Family Therapist internship at the Hanmi Family Counseling Center in Orange County, California. She and her husband have a home in northern California and have two grown children.

Pat Williams

Pat was four years old when her one-year-old sister died suddenly resulting in a total alteration of her life perspective. Her need for help in recovery gave her a heart for others who have suffered grief and trauma. Pat desires to help people move forward using her coach training, into the abundant lives God can bring them. She has a background in Christian counseling and prayer ministry, with a Master’s in Social Work, which led to professional Christian counseling. Since retirement, Pat has done volunteer prayer ministry based on the extensive training with Elijah House and Theophostic Prayer Ministry.
